The Icarus Line doesn’t exist anymore. But that’s not to say that the people who were once associated with the band aren’t doing interesting things…
Don Devore (the guitarist who featured on Penance Soiree and Black Lives At The Golden Coast) is in a band called Collapsing Scenery, and their new single ‘The Resort Beyond The Last Resort’ (released earlier this month) can be streamed digitally on Spotify, Apple Music, + more.
Michael Grodner (the director of the film The Icarus Line Must Die) was recently interviewed by Missing Words. Check out the podcast here.
Joe Cardamone recently released his The Holy War mixtape on September 21. Check it out on all streaming services via Helium Records. Also check out his interview at Conversations with Bianca and Since I Left You. Finally, check out the video to his ‘Love Roses’ song below.
And let’s not forget Travis Keller (of Buddyhead fame) who should be having a new photo zine (‘Past Lives’) published shortly. He also co-runs the American Primitive label company with Joe Cardamone (along with a handful of others).
PAST LIVES, my 100-page photo zine, is done and has been sent off to the printers! I should have copies for sale online in the next couple weeks. @americanprimo ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
