Today marks the 10 year anniversary for when The Icarus Line first unleashed their second album Penance Soiree on to an unsuspecting mainstream music world. Of course, many underground music connoisseurs had already have been bracing themselves for something special – as Mono was indeed an exceptional debut. It’s no coincidence therefore that Penance Soiree went on to distinguish itself as being one of 2004’s greatest musical highlights.
