The Icarus Line’s upcoming new album has been receiving some really rave reviews across the net. Here are a few snippets of what the critics have been saying about Slave Vows:

The Line of Best Fit – 8/10

The most unified Icarus Line album to date, and their best since 2004’s breakthrough ‘Penance Soiree’.

Music OMH – 4/5

Proper rock music.

The 405 – 8/10

Surely the year’s most blistering rock record so far.

MudKiss – Album of the Month

The spectre of founder member and original lead guitarist Aaron North has most definitely now left the building.

Stuff n Such

The record is solid, maybe their best since ‘Penance Soiree’ and begins another chapter of the madness that is the Icarus Line.

Trebuchet

This album captures all the raw power of one of their sweat soaked hard-hitting live shows. No mean feat. It’s music to kill to, or fuck to, or both.

Middle Boop Mag

‘Slave Vows’ marks a return to the beginning, as Cardamone invites listeners to join him in sticking up a righteous middle finger to the man!

Slave Vows will be released via Agitated on 8 July (or 16 July according to some websites).
