The first reviews for All Things Under Heaven have started appearing on the net. Although brief, ‘No Funeral’ gives a gushing appraisal and declares the double album as eclipsing “last year’s Slave Vows in scope and ambition, and that record was no slouch. What that really means is The Icarus Line have stepped it up and you should be paying attention”. Check out the full review here.
For those still on the fence, Drowned in Sound took the necessary time out to review the primer single (‘Ride or Die’) for ATUH and stated that “it’s raw, it’s powerful, but it isn’t harking back to Raw Power. It makes me feel all the parts of me that are dead inside that it’s like meditation to help me feel truly alive. That’s what I want from rock n’ roll”. And if that wasn’t enough, Clash Music awarded ‘Ride or Die’ as their track of the day.
